RFA Robotloader RS080N with RFA-Raster

The RFA RobotLoader RS080N with RFA-Raster has been developed by RFA to load heavy parts into milling machines and lathes. The medium duty Kawasaki RS080N robot (6 axis, repeatability ±0.06 mm, payload 80 kg, reach Ø 4.200 mm) is very suitable for this application.

The operator can easily set the robot for a new task by a few tabs on the tablet pc with the intuitive RFA-Raster software.

The large Kawasaki RS080N robot has 6 axis, a repeatability of ±0.06 mm, a handling capacity of 80 kg and a working range of Ø 4.200 mm. As the robot is placed at an inclination of 45° on the robot stand, the robot is placed beside the machine door (not in front of it), hence the operator can easily access the machine.

As the Robotloader is equipped with 2 grippers, the work piece is quickly exchanged in the machine.

Thanks to the RFA-Raster software, which runs on the tablet-pc, it is easy to set the robot program for a new work piece. No special knowledge of programming is needed, the operator is guided by clear and intuitive menu’s.

The robot blows chips and coolant of the work piece and the chuck in the machine, by moving a pneumatic nozzle which is mounted on the gripper.

By using a safety light barrier with 2 deflecting mirrors, 3 sides of the robot cell are open, for a safe and optimal access for the operator.
