REAL TIME PATH MEASUREMENT
The robot follows the welding seam of the work piece by measuring the welding current during weaving welding movements. The robot measures the changes of the welding current via a shunt in the welding machine. The deviations in the welding current occur as the length of the arc varies because of deviations in the work piece compared to the programmed path of the robot. The path of the robot is corrected in real time y the RTPM software. This option is only applicable for MIG/MAG welding of steel.

TACTILE SEARCHING FOR THE WELD SEAM.
The robot can search for the weld seam by touching the work piece with the welding wire, before the actual welding process starts.
