RS013N: THE NEW FAST KAWASAKI ROBOT
Kawasaki Robotics introduces a new 6-axis robot, payload 13 kg, reach 1,460 mm, protection class IP67. The RS013N has a new robot arm design and lower weight. These improvements make the RS013N the fastest robot in its class, combined with a large working range.

ULTRA HIGH-SPEED OPERATION
The RS013N is the fastest robot in its class, thanks to its lightweight robotic arm and powerful high-revving motors. The acceleration is automatically adjusted to the weight to be handled and the position of the robot arm so that the performance is optimal and the cycle times are shortest.
WIDE WORK RANGE
In addition to extending the RS013N maximum reachtp1.60 mm, the rotation range of each axis has also been increased. The extended motion range translates to a larger usable work area with minimal dead-space and greater flexibility.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IP67
The dust-proof RS013N robot is characterized by completely covered motors and waterproof electrical connections. As a result, the entire robot has protection class IP67. This is ideal for applications where the robot arm needs to be hosed down.
HIGH TORQUE
High-output motors, combined with a rigid arm construction, allow for superior wrist torque and load capacity.
INTEGRATED FEATURES
The RS013N robot has Ethernet wiring in the arm assembly - for easy connection of vision systems and other devices. Built-in pneumatic lines and internal wiring for sensors and solenoid valves are standard. Mounting pads and taps are provided to allow easy installation of additional cabling, tubing or equipment.
SPACE SAVING
The slim arm design requires very little floor space. Multiple robots can be installed in "high-density" applications without impeding performance.
PROGRAMMING FLEXIBILITY
R Series Robots can be programmed in two ways, via the robot teach pendant or a computer, and using one of the two Kawasaki's programming methodologies, Block Step or AS Language. The Block Step programming method eliminates time consuming program teaching with auto-path generating software. The powerful AS Language provides ultimate flexibility via any word processor text file and enables the programmer to create advanced logic, manipulate program locations, integrate peripheral components and control the application process.
