EASY TO USE AND HIGH FUNCTIONALITY
RFA has developed PatEdit software to program palletising robots quickly and easily. With PatEdit the operator creates a palletising pattern by a few mouse-clicks or tabs on a tablet-pc. The corresponding robot programs are generated by PatEdit as well.

PatEdit has a Pattern Generator which will suggest palletising patterns after input of the dimensions of the boxes (or crates or bags) and the pallets. The patterns will be displayed to the operator in 3-D on the screen of the pc, for optimal visibility for the operator.

The palletising patterns and robot programs can be backed-up via Ethernet on a Windows-pc or tablet. With the PatEdit "Live" function it is possible to display the palletising cycle which is in progress on-line. With this feature the palletising robot can be monitored anywhere.

Step 1: Definition of the dimensions
• Entry of dimensions of pallets and boxes

Step 2: Generating the pallet patterns
• Pattern Generator creates patterns automatically
• Select a pattern.
• Choose options like sheets or gluing

Step 3: Exporting the pallet pattern
• PatEdit automatically integrates the positions in the actual robot program.
• The new pattern will be executed by the robot.
• The progress of the palletising is displayed real-time on the PC
